[Reflection] My restoration point.....

From July. 21. 2013. Our GLPS20 camp was started. Until now, I can remember that times.
I amazed and surprised every things. And I also make sure of my three goals.
It already spent a month. I think I have to restore my goals. And I have to reflect my goals.

First my goal was 'I want to be good at golf'
I made it for my goal cause we have golf class. I wanted to do well at that class. Because that was my first time to learn golf.
I gave three steps for accomplish this goal.

Step 1- I have to follow what golf teacher said.
Step 2- I have to practice hard and finding my own skill.
Step 3- I tried to find a book about golf from library.

I practice hard in my golf class and I asked to my father about the golf. Because he used to do the golf for his exercise. I also asked some advises from the golf teacher. She helped me to corrected my pose. I think it is my good things what I did from this camp.

Through these efforts, I got the green card from the teacher. This is my most memorable from my golf class. It was the most impressive event.

Second, my goal was ' I will make my homepage'
From the before, I wanted to have my own homepage(or blog). Through the writing class, I accomplished my wish. I was really thankful to my writing teacher. Cause she helped me a lot...

I gave two steps for this situation.

1st step-I have to study hard in 'Blog-Writing'class.
2nd step-I have to give a lot of opinions.


I think I succeed in these steps. Every projects, I try to be the best in the class and I created many posts. I tried to give many opinions in my projects.
Some time, I felt sad cause I couldn't get green card. But I tried to give the effort for the other posts. And suddenly, I got the green card of my photo essay.
I was really thanks to the teacher. I also have self-confidence of my writing.
I'm going to keep my posting even this camp over.

Third goal is 'Improve my English skills'
In this goal, I can not sure my English skill was improved. But I think, I had some developments. Before a month, I gave four steps for improving my English skills.


1st step- I have to listen and speak English.
2nd step- I have to write English diaries everyday.
3rd step-I have to memorize 1000 words during a month.
4th step- I have to find more English book.

I think I accomplished three steps. First, second, and fourth one. But, I could not memorized 1000 words. I think I memorized some words through my projects, debates, and presentation. Also from the diary. But I could not memorized some words myself.

I also had hard time in my projects cause of the vocabularies. It was my default...

But I did good at  step 1,2, and 4. I only get one E.O.P violation. I also applauded from teacher that I wrote diaries everyday. I found some information through the book that written in English. I can say to my mother that I improve my English skill. If I go back to Seoul, I try to improve more in my English.

Through this reflection, I think I had succeed in life of this camp. But between these goals, I think enjoy was most important for me. I had a good time in this camp and also I enjoyed a lot. I satisfy of this camp.

[MY PHOTO ESSAY] About our third week in GLPS.

We already spent 2 weeks in GLPS. I think there was many interesting stories. I want to introduce my days over third week at the GLPS20 in KLMA. I think it will be interesting cause I felt I had extensive summer vacation in GLPS20. I cannot explain all about the stories. So I just introduce of  my third week of the camp.

[130804] This is the note of my speech

I'm ready for the speech contest. I really want to participate the speech.

I found the information from the book and write about the Starbucks. I swelled with pride.

When I wrote the speech, I also felt my improvement of the English skills.

But still, I have problem of vocabulary...

I have to memorize some words... Even I feel lazy...

I think I got many things from GLPS. I can improve my English skills through debating and presentation. In my plane, even I go back to Seoul, I will still doing debating and practice presentation with my friends to develop English.

I think it will be interesting to me.

[130805]This is my significant Diary

I stared to write this diary from the first day of this camp.

I remembered that I was worried so much.

I needed many times to wrote the diary at the first. But now, I can write a diary just some minutes. Through the diary, I can notice that my English skill was improved. Also, I can keep my memories of this camp. I like Monday and Thursday. Cause these days, teachers are check my diary. I like to get their comments of my diary. Some days, I wrote my diary for get some comments from teacher. I have some rules when I write diary.

First, I must write just the truth.

Second, Using more than 3 hard words.

Third, put my feelings.

and Fourth, don't keep secret to the diary. Show everything.

I try to follow these rules every day. Also I try to write more than a page. Before i just thought that diary is just annoy things. But now, I like to write my diary everyday.

[130806] We had snack party with my roommates

This day... I had really hard time of my diet... I want to eat some snacks I could not controlled my self. So, I ate all of it. It tastes really good~ I still miss the taste of them...

We had some chickens, snacks, and juices. We also worried about the P.As...

But we had happy time. We can know the importance of the food...

And also, I can noticed my diet was finished...

I think many people can agree about me cause...

Every one concern about diet... And they know it is so hard...

[130807] Our dormitory with cafeteria 

This picture is our dormitory. I think it will be really significance for me. I think I can give three the reason why it was important for me.

First, this dormitory used from the student of 'Korea Minjok Leadership Academy'

Second, I say goodbye in this dormitory with my family

and Third, I spent in this dormitory for one month with my roommates.

It is really important place for me. Cause I studied, eat, and laugh at here. I think I will really miss of this building...

When I come to this camp, I was really surprised. Cause there was big golf station.

It's my first time to learn golf. Also I didn't notice that I will learn golf. So I want to do well at golf class. I want to compete with my father someday.

Also, I like the way to go golf station even it was hard to go...

I left my traces at this road. I fell down to this road...haha...

I got the green card from golf class!!!! I was really happy.

Friday, I was ready for our history presentation. This time, I tried to find some information from the book. It was really hard to me... Cause I used to find some information from internet. But this time, teacher suggest me to find the information from the book. Cause it will be more trust information than the internet. I want to finish this work faster... or I want someone to help me... I need some advice....

This is the building that the classes gathered. I want to talk about our speech contest and history presentation. We had two competitions. Some of the student have their competitions. I just watched them but they really do well. I imagine during I watched them that my future. I imagined, if I stand the stage. I  think it will be really nervous. I was so sad cause I did not voted for the competition but it was good experiences.

Do you know when you went to Woolim school, You could heard the song of the Neilia. Her voice was silently beautiful and smooth. Also next of her, there is a boy who played piano called Oliver. Both of them liked to sing a song.

"I believe I can fly~"
"I believe I can touch the sky~"
"Really? can you? kkk"
"Oh! Neilia it's just the song!"

Neilia likes to have some jokes with Oliver. Oliver also likes to get her jokes.

The Neilia also good at compose the songs. One day Neilia gave a song to Oliver. Oliver tried to practice to sing the song that Neilia gave him.

And... she lost her memory of Oliver.....

The Princess Bride - Movie review

Today, I tried to post about 'The princess Bride'

It is Romantic comedy adventure film. In this movie, there are Grandson (sick boy), Buttercup (Princess), Westley, Prince Humperdinck, Fezzik (Giant), Inigo or Spaniard (Spanish sword fighter), Vizzini (smart man who dies), Count Rugen (six fingered man) ,Miracle Max (brings Westley back to life), Dread Pirate Roberts (Westley was actually the man in black). The background of this movie is cliffs of insanity, Shrieking Eels, Fire swamp, Forest of Thieves and Pit of Despair. This story was started from the grandfather telling the story to his sick grandson.

At the beginning of the story, Westley worked in the Butter cup's farm. But suddenly, Westley have to go to the war. At that time, they love each others. It spents 5 years after Westley went to the war.
Buttercup married with the prince Humperdinck. When princess Buttercup way to go castle, she kidnapped from Giant and Spaniard. They tried to get some money from her. But Westley tried to save her to pass three barriers with his brightness.
He wore black mask, so she couldn't notice him.
Suddenly, she noticed him when he said 'As a wish'. When Prince Buttercup asked him to do something, Westley mostly said 'As a wish'. So she could notice him.

Unfortunately, the army from prince arrest Westley. Because prince try to kill princess Buttrercup. He thought that Westley will save her from the danger. So he wants to kill Westley. But Princess Buttercup makes he can't kill Westley. The Westley imprisoned basement. Inigo and Fezzik reunite, and Fezzik informs Inigo of Rugen's existence. Inigo decides that they need the help of the man in black and follows them. Inigo and Fezzik arrive in Rugen's forture chamber to find Westley dead, but they bring him to a miracle man named Miracle Max, Who explains that Westley is "only mostly dead" reviving him to a state of heavy paralysis. But the Spaniard and Giant tried to save him. After Westley can save princess Bride with Giant and Spaniard. Also Spaniard revenge of his father through kill the Count Rugan (Who has six fingers). In the end each of them find their own life. Also they are on a good relationship. I could think no one can divide their relationship. They spent happy days.

In my opinions, it looked like the story for elementary school student. Because it was all about the Princess and the love. But it was different from other love stories. They could give us the lessons and teach us about true love. I tried to think a lot while I watch this movie. I think it could be a educational movie.
From this movie, we could know the some lessons.
When you watch princess Buttercup, she tried to believe that Westley was revived.
I think Westley was devoted man for the Princess Buttercup. He would save her from the danger even he could died.
They give us big lesson that if you want to be a good leader, you need to believe others and be devote to them. If you be a good leader, others will follow you.

My Goal Of GLPS20

I think goal is something one's want to be come true.

Yesterday, I saw the video of Matt Cutts' 30-day Challenges. From there, I saw the interesting goals.

I tried to find my goal.

First, I want to be good at golf.

On Thursday, I started to learn how to play golf. I practiced it very hard. Because I found new interest. So I tried to think about how to be good at golf. I found three steps.

1st step- I have to follow what golf teacher said.

2nd step-I have to practice hard and finding my own skill.

3rd step-I tried to find a book about golf from library.

Second, I will make my homepage.

My name is Kim So Yeon. My hometown is Seoul. My parents said that I have positive mind. I want to be a psychiatrist in the future. Also I like psychology. My hobby is listening to music and trying to think about the meaning of the music.
